How to install your repository package when u don't have an internet connection???
here is the explain how to install on your ubuntu 8.10
1. You must copy the repository from your CD to your hardisk & save it in 1 partition to make easy when u call the place when you install.Size of all repository is 22 GB.
2. Now,you know the address of your directory...for this session is /media/revo.If ou choose revo1, that address must be added by /revo1 so the complete address /media/revo/revo1.
3. And then, on terminal you must login to your root with “sudo su” and press enter.insert your password.
4. And then write “gedit /etc/apt/sources.list” press enter & you will get the source list of the last package.Delete all the list and write the new list to get the new package like this screenshot below.
5. Save the sources list and close the windows.Close the terminal too.Actually root can be hidden.
6. And then open the terminal again and write “sudo su” & input your password, and then write “apt-get update” press enter.if the work success,will be there some loading data to get new update of package like this picture below.If not, replace your work again and be patient to try.
